5 simple Ways to Increase Your Google Ranking

1 The Impact of Blog Posts

With this example, let’s say there are 5 members of your team who have agreed to write one or two blog posts per week. Each time a blog post is published and added to the site, a new page is listed with the search engines like Google and Bing! By the end of the first month,

the website doubles in content pages listed via search engine indexes.
Now that we've completed building our static internet site, permit's add a blog. For the sake of this example, let's say that there are 5 members in the enterprise who have agreed to write just one post per week.

Additionally, if you publish anywhere from 5-10 blog posts a month and maintain it up for at least a year, you'll still have far more pages indexed in Google at the end of that period than if you simply post 2 blogs per week. Don't overlook this incredible strategy to raise your search engine optimization (SEO) while simultaneously building a network of valuable content on your website that customers will want to read and bookmark!

2 The Power of Incoming Link

Now if our loyal "bloggers" had been adding their daily posts on topics of interest to the business, word gets out that they've posted some valuable information, at least offering a voice for the company.  The site begins to appear on fellow blogger's blogrolls and real posts are linked as references and factors of discussion in different online courses.

People especially love statistics that they didn't even know they wanted to know. Spreadsheets are the best way to communicate numbers and make your presentations look great. Each list of data, whether it be on a spreadsheet or elsewhere, has cells. These work just like mailboxes at a post office - you've got to put something in the cell before it can be picked up and carried off by the person who reads your spreadsheet (aka, the audience).

New York Times is a well-liked web-based journal that sometimes writes articles about the most recent business information. The vast majority of internet sites wish to have hyperlinks from New York Times since it is seen as a major paper.  Google sees that The Connecticut Post was related to by The New York Times, so they recognize that it ought to be an important site. They then discover out what hyperlinks have been related by the New York Times and use these already-linked web pages in their index.

Hooray! Thanks to the addition of a blog, our little website that used to be about ten or so static pages now holds an enviable second position in Google search results.

3 Indexed Pages on Google And Create Backlinks...

It is easy to consider a blog as a mere method of posting articles on your website. But writing posts and linking them to others can work wonders for you if handled properly. As recently noted by Matt Cutts at WordCamp San Francisco, Google values relevant incoming links from reputable domains wherein the content of the article is similar to or consistent with that of your blog post. This way, it is possible to generate organic traffic to your site while building long term relationships based on mutual trust and respect through shared articles with quality content in accordance with SEO guidelines.

In the state of affairs above, our small business blog has managed to provide relevant content and generate solid hyperlinks—two hefty keys to fulfillment on Google.

 4 Real-World Example...

If you don’t agree with me, let’s take a quick look at a recent Google search to see the impact of an online blog.

Let's say we're new to Baltimore and looking for a realtor. If a client were to begin their search on Google for "Realtor Baltimore", after the map results (important to be aware of), one of the first actual estate marketers to appear in the natural search results would be Wayne Curtis at www.Charmcityrealestate.Com. A blog is one of the best ways to consistently publish pages to a site that will generate relevant and contextual backlinks.

CharmCityRealEstate.com includes a blog with posts going back to November 2006. As you can see within the image below, Google has listed 145 pages of CharmCityRealEstate.com -- over half of which are blog posts full of Baltimore real estate market information and news updates.

Now let's search for a different real estate agent in the Baltimore area. This agent does not rank in Google and does not have a blog. As you can see from their website below, the top 14 pages are listed with Google.

Broadly speaking, incoming links are more difficult to measure as individual pieces of hardware will return different numbers. However, one can get a basic evaluation by entering the toll-free sentence “link:yourdomain.com” into both Google and Yahoo and viewing the results. Using Alexa.com’s “Site Info” tool we can see www.Charmcityrealestate.com’s most prominent incoming links, which include hyperlinks from HDTVcom’s collections House Hunters and House Hunters International, two fantastically applicable and respected home improvement sites that may be servicing Charm City Real Estate’s desired customer base direcly or indirectly depending on their relationship with HDTVcom itself.

5 Best Quality of Page Indexed and Incoming Link...

When participating in this experiment, you may find that some sites don't rank as well due to their content. This is because they do not share the same keywords used in the search engine's results. Just like when one writes a lengthy blog post on a specific topic that has many keyword-rich words suited to it, too many incoming links can harm a site’s engine ranking unless of course those linking websites are relevant to the topic discussed in prior posts.
